About Totta Sausage
FOUR GENERATIONS AND STILL GOING STRONG
The Totta Italian Sausage recipe has been handed down from generation to generation.
When Tony Barber came to the United States from Italy in 1903, he brought the family
recipe with him and began making the sausage in the grocery store that he purchased in 1923.
When he retired in 1950, he passed the family sausage recipe down to his son-in-law, Tony Totta. In 1953 when Mr. Totta opened his supermarket, he made and sold this same sausage. The customers began to count on the fine quality of Totta's Italian Sausage. Tony Totta then passed the recipe on to his son, Vincent Totta who began making it for his customers in his own grocery store started in 1982.Vincent Totta then taught his sons Tony and Rodney how to make this very same sausage recipe.
The Totta family will now bring this fine sausage to National Markets.
