Wonton Appetizers

Ingredients:

• 1 lb Totta's Bulk Italian Sausage (if not bulk, remove casings)
  1 package Wonton Wrappers from Produce Section
  1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  1/2 cup chopped red pepper
  4 tablespoon chopped green onion
  1/2 cup ranch dressing
  2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or colby jack cheese
  1/2 cup chopped black olives (optional)

Directions:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees,  Spray Mini Muffin Pans with Pam.  Take wonton wrappers and place one in each mini muffin to form to the bottom and sides to make a small cup.  Bake for 5 minutes until light brown.  Remove from oven and let cool.  Brown sausage, may need to use a tablespoon of olive oil to coat the skillet, add peppers, onions, ranch dressing and cheese.  Mix well to melt cheese.  Place a teaspoon of filling in each cup.  Bake an additional 5 minutes to heat through and make wontons crispy.  Serve immediately.  I normally remove the cups to a cookie sheet for the last 5 minutes baking.  They will hold their shape allowing you to use your muffin pans to bake the remaining cups.
