WONTON APPETIZERS
1 lb Totta's Bulk Italian Sausage (if not bulk, remove casings)
1 package Wonton Wrappers from Produce Section
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped red pepper
4 tablespoon chopped green onion
1/2 cup ranch dressing
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or colby jack cheese
1/2 cup chopped black olives (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, Spray Mini Muffin Pans with Pam. Take wonton wrappers and place one in each mini muffin to form to the bottom and sides to make a small cup. Bake for 5 minutes until light brown. Remove from oven and let cool. Brown sausage, may need to use a tablespoon of olive oil to coat the skillet, add peppers, onions, ranch dressing and cheese. Mix well to melt cheese. Place a teaspoon of filling in each cup. Bake an additional 5 minutes to heat through and make wontons crispy. Serve immediately. I normally remove the cups to a cookie sheet for the last 5 minutes baking. They will hold their shape allowing you to use your muffin pans to bake the remaining cups.
